How we make money

Today

At launch, no provider pays us and no link on the site earns a commission. When that changes, the affected pages will say so above the first paid link.

What may pay for the site

• Evaluation fees. A provider may pay for us to evaluate its product sooner. It gets the same research and the same calculator as everyone else, and it may come out last.
• Affiliate links. Some links may earn a commission if you sign up. They are marked rel="sponsored" in the page code and disclosed on the page.
• Clearly labelled sponsorship, kept separate from the comparisons.

What money cannot buy

• A position in any list. The order comes from the calculator and the published profile only.
• Inclusion of figures the provider has not published.
• Removal of a fee, a limitation or a regulatory detail.
• A badge, seal or “award” to display elsewhere. We do not sell them.
• A preview of the page before it is published.
